Mindful Living Social Work was founded with the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding, connection, and intentional practice.

Our practice provides compassionate, person-centered, and trauma-informed clinical social work services to individuals navigating life transitions, emotional challenges, relationships, and personal growth. We recognize the importance of creating a therapeutic environment where individuals feel seen, respected, and supported without fear of judgment or misunderstanding.

Grounded in trauma-informed care, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, therapy at Mindful Living Social Work supports individuals in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, and healthier coping strategies.

While therapy can support individuals experiencing mental health concerns, it is also a valuable resource for those seeking personal growth, improved emotional wellness, and a deeper understanding of themselves.

Our Clinical Social Work Approach

Trauma-Informed Practice

Trauma-informed care recognizes that life experiences—whether identified as traumatic or not—can influence emotional, behavioral, mental, physical, and relational well-being.

Our approach focuses on understanding the impact of experiences such as loss, relationships, adversity, cultural experiences, and significant life transitions while helping individuals develop healthier ways of coping and reconnecting with themselves.

You do not need to identify as a trauma survivor to benefit from trauma-informed therapy. This approach is designed to help individuals better understand their experiences, recognize patterns, and build skills that support healing and growth.

Mindfulness-Based Practices

Mindfulness is incorporated into treatment to support awareness of thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences with greater compassion and without judgment.

Mindfulness practices can support stress reduction, emotional regulation, and increased self-awareness. These techniques are personalized to meet each individual’s needs and goals.

Beyond Therapy: Professional Development & Consultation

Mindful Living Social Work extends beyond clinical services by supporting the growth of social workers and organizations through professional development, workshops, and consultation.

Through education and training, we help professionals strengthen their understanding of trauma-informed practices, cultural humility, ethical practice, and real-world application of social work knowledge.
